It might be as an employee, employer, vendor, customer, buyer or seller. How do we dress, shake hands, write e-mails, communicate and interact with others during official events have a lot of impact on how other people judge us or form impressions of us. This leads to success or a failure in whatever we are trying to do, from a small thing as negotiating for our grocery to a critical thing as meeting key clients, achieving our career goals and ambition.

People are sensitive to the slightest hint of body odour. When working in confined spaces in proximity to others, use a deodorant.
When wearing perfume or after-shave, an odourless deodorant or one containing the same perfume should supplement it.
Remember that too much of any perfume or after-shave-however good and expensive – is putting-off.
Well groomed hair is important for both men and women. Women usually don’t need prompting, but men must remember to go regularly to the hairdresser.
Moustaches and beards should be kept trim.
So before rushing out, take a minute to inspect yourself from head to toe.
Check that your hems are not letting you down, that no buttons are missing, that your grand turnout is unblemished by stains, flecks of dust, dandruff, stray hairs, grabby shoes, razor cuts, food particles between the teeth and gaping zips
Shorts don’t belong to the office setting
Nor do gaudy nails or glitter
Shoes should be well kept and heels should not be very tall
With gray , black and blue tones – trousers, wear black shoes, black belt and with brown, beige or buff tones wear brown shoes & brown belt
For men, the most acceptable clothing is suit, shirt and a tie
For women, wearing a sari, suit, trousers, skirt or jacket is acceptable.
